João studied Management at the University of Madeira and began his journey at Mercedes-Benz Portugal in 2000 within the IT department as software developer and project manager.

In 2007, he switched to Marketing & Sales and took over the responsibility of order and allocation management, wholesale systems implementation and retailer training. In 2015, he became responsible for the product management of the entire E-Class family in Portugal.

João joined Region Europe as Master Data Specialist supporting the foundations of Master Data Centre of Competence.

Since 2022 João is Head-PO of Product and Merchandise Data - that targets to create THE single source of truth by maintaining and delivering reliable product data for offering and ordering use cases worldwide.
