We have used the , which is a flexible and customizable framework that makes it easy to build web APIs, in several of our projects. It allows you to build RESTful APIs in Python with Django, exposing API endpoints which are accessible from a consumer front-end. Django REST gives a browsable web API that allows developers to visualize data being transferred through the API and returns response examples, which the consumer application will receive. It provides a number of authentication schemes out of the box, and allows implementation of custom schemes.
